Main task: continuity issue with first go at editing

continuity issue with footage In this video i will be talking about my first attempt at editing the footage i got after my first day of filming. due to issues with lighting i had to change the location i was filming on at the last minuet, however before i decided on moving to a different place i already filmed some footage of the first setting. this footage is relatively crucial to the continuity of my sequence because it bridges the shots from inside my villain’s car to the main setting of the opening sequence. so because of this gap in footage the shots jump from one place to another, from the inside of a car looking on to a more rural scape of bushes and country roads to a relatively urban view of a street lit by road lights. as i said before this poses an issue with the continuity of my sequence so i will have to be very careful with editing in order to not disorientate and confuse my audience. another problem i have faced during my first go at editing my footage is the lack of point of view shots, the thriller genre is all about perspective and observation so i feel i should have exploited this convention of genre more with tracking shots and dutch angles so i may have to go out for another day of filming.
