Thriller production: recce of set

last week i did a set visist of the location i had in mind for filming my thriller opening scene. after veiwing the location i gained a clearer idea of how i would like to film my scenes and it gave me ideas on what characters might be looming around in that area which has helped me to develope my plot further. the set recce also allowed me to see what might make filming difficult, for example the positioning of the key spot i would be focausing on is overshadowed by a small forrest meaning timing with sunlight may be tricky and will require scheduling for the time of day i would to film to get the best lighting. while waling the location i no cars passed me meaning traffic wont particularly be and issue when filming.
